Planning Commissions mission is to guide the responsible growth and development of Saguache County by ensuring land use decisions are made in a fair, transparent, and collaborative manner that reflects the values and needs of the community. We strive to balance economic growth with the preservation of natural resources, historic character, and quality of life for present and future generations.

Such contact is considered Ex Parte communication and will have to be disclosed as part of the public hearings on the matter. If you have any concerns, you should contact staff, write a letter or present your concerns at the public meeting so your comments can be made part of the record.
